See study guide, page 6 DUE BY 7/17A physician and a MA can respect one another by keeping in mind that they are both there to help the patients, just in different forms. Both of the doctor and the MA are depended on by the patients in a high regard. The MA in the office plays a vital part in the reputation of the office because we are the first ones that the patient and the family members see. The first person that any one sees sets the standard for the office and the reputation. I believe that the way a MA should handle any type of conflict that they may have with the MD is to talk about it in the most professional manner. They should not let the patients or anyone else see that they are upset by something that was said or done by the MD. They should talk in a private area, maybe with another person in the room. The main role that a MA plays in breaking down the barriers of communication in a medical office or any where that they are working is to talk to the patients and make sure that all questions or worries that they have is answered. By talking to the MD the MA can make sure to communicate by relaying any type of information that they may need to know. I completely agree with you Beth. It is definitely a place that they are both there to care for patients no matter what their job title is. I also agree with if there is ever a conflict between the physician and the medical assistant that they should go into a private area and talk to one another professionally instead of talking about it in front of all the others in the area.

A physician and medical assistant could or should both respect each other's role and level of education because they're both here to serve patient .A medical assistant play a positive part in a medical office by assisting and preparing or scheduling patients for special examination. From my prospective medical assistant should handle conflict with physician after office hours to prevent other co-workers or patient from getting involve because believe it or not other people will want to know what's going on just to tag in their opinion which probably not necessary for the situation.

The physician and the medical assistant can respect each other by the MA knowing that the doctor has more education than them and is there to help them extend there knowledge. The physician can know that the MA is there to assist the physician and lean as well. The medical assistant plays a positive role of the office by having a positive attitude when they greet the patient and getting there correct information when triaging the patient. If there happens to be a conflict with the physician the MA should ask the doctor what had caused the conflict and then talk through it. Although sometimes talking through it doesn't always play out and further action may be required as far as management, trying to resolve the issue before it gets to big is usually the best solution.

1) The physician and MA can both respect one another's roles and level of knowledge the physician can help the MA understand in the areas where the MA is lacking knowledge 2) MA's play an important role in medical offices by being polite and professional 3) An MA should work a problem or disagreement out with an physician in private so that no one or the patients are aware of any conflict 4) Is to listen ,ask questions, speak clearly, and provide feed back 5)Listening to patients and the problems that they are having
