In the state of Vermont the good Samaritan laws state that you not liable for anything that happens to the person will giving lifesaving help. The thing that I like about this states laws are that if you are able to offer help and walk away you can be held liable if something were to happen to the person that was in need of the lifesaving help. In the state of Virginia the good Samaritan law states that if you see someone in need of lifesaving help you may help them but you do not have to. Here in Virginia you are not going to be held liable for what happens to the person while you are giving lifesaving help. If I was to see a person in need of lifesaving help there is no way that I would be able to walk away from them. I have my BLS and currently am working on the progressive care unit at the hospital so I feel confident that I would be able to help someone that is in need of lifesaving help.

1)Base on my research, the good Samaritan Laws in Virginia stated that you are allow to help a person that is in any life threatening emergency base on your training field. 2) The good Samaritan law in Indiana stated that you should be a certified emergency medical technician or a certified emergency medical technician-basic to provides emergency services to an emergency patient. and you are not liable for an act or omission in providing those services unless the act or omission constitutes negligence or willful misconduct. 3) If I ever find my self in a emergency situation all i would do is call 911 and assure the person in need that help will be on the way shortly. I agree with you Kimbleda I would call 911 and help the person out untill help arrived

The Good Samaritan laws in Virginia are that you can help someone to your training and not be held liable if something where to happen, but in Virginia you are not required to offer help to someone. The other state I choose was Utah. in Utah you are not held liable for assisting someone who is in an emergency situation i.e.: car wreck, or unexpected injury. In both Virginia and Utah you are not held liable for assisting in an emergency situation. The difference in Utah is that you do not have to have a license to offer assistance to an individual. I feel that in a situation that fell into the Good Samaritan law that I would assist to the best of my ability and knowledge, and if I could not assist I would be there till someone who was qualified arrived such as the paramedics.

Good Samaritan laws in Virginia are pretty lenient. The state of Virginia allows anyone to help at the scene of the emergency until professional medical techs arrive on scene. In Arizona, you have to be licensed in the healthcare practices in order to not be liable for helping at the scene of an emergency.

Good Samaritan laws in Virginia allows anyone to help citizens that are in any type of life threatening situation until professional help arrives. In Arizona the Good Samaritan Laws state that you must be registered CPR to help citizens. If I was ever in that situation I would call 911 assist the injured person the best I could until professionals arrive

1) The Good Samaritan Laws in Virginia are that you can help the person that is ill or injured at the scene of an accident , fire , or any life threatening emergency . If you help the injured person you are not liable for helping that person . The other state I chosen to do was Oklahoma . The Good Samaritan Laws in Oklahoma are that you can only provide CPR or stop bleeding in an emergency situation . You are liable for the actions you do if you are untrained . 2) The actions I would take are help the person if I was not liable for helping the person out depending on their situation. I agree because if its something real serious you don't want to further injure the person
